Tokyo Academic Park Photo Contest 2009 Winners!

　 We are pleased to announce the winners of Tokyo Academic Park Photo Contest 2009. All photos were taken by foreign exchange students and Japanese students, and staffs of Tokyo Academic Park and all winners were judged on the basis of creativity related with the theme ("What you think beautiful") by majority vote or judges.
Thank you to all the students and staffs who submitted photos and thanks to all of you who voted during the event.

Tokyo Academic Park Superintendent Prize　 "Beauty arose from earth"　 Nafees Uddin Chowdhury （Bangladesh）　 Fujiyama is the highest peak of Japan. The beauty of this can be seen both from earth and above the earth.		Tokyo International Exchange Center Prize　 "FRIENDSHIP"　 Ferdous Farazi Binti （Bangladesh） The beauty of friendship is beyond any definition.
Miraikan Prize "Sunset, bridge and Lovers" Park Jae Cheol （Republic of Korea） I took this picture near Venus Fort. I took this picture for sunset and merry-go-round, but I found later that lovers in the picture looked more beautiful than other objects in the picture.		AIST Tokyo Waterfront Prize "Rice paddies: stunning beauty"　 Katarina Macuhova （Slovakia）　 Rice paddy: the join of beauty and the most important food for a large part of the world's human population

"Performance by spider & rain"　 Higashide Takanobu （Japan）　 　 Web of spider is usually disliked, but it is showing a different face, after the rain.		"see the setting sun together"　 Zhao Yan （China） This is the photo I took at the top of Wakakusa Mountain Nara in June 2009. The young couple and two little deer are watching the sunset together under the tree. I think that the harmony between the human-being, the animal and the plant is one of the beautiful things in the world.
"Rainbow Bright and the Color Kid"　 Miguel Castaneda （Philippines） Photo was taken during the Festival of Seaside Lights in Odaiba. The festive atmosphere was punctuated by a warm afternoon light and a huge rainbow.		"Three" Saita Eiichiro （Japan） Immediately after the birth of my daughter. I was also captured by her eyes, and this became the first family picture of our three.
"The beauty of human face: no matter the race"　 Igor Prusa （Czech Republic） 　 Satoko is beautiful Japanese girl. In this experiment, I was wondering how she would look like if I added some colorful features to her face, resembling Native American Indians. You can see the result in my photo: it is the human face that stays primordially beautiful ? the race does not matter at all. "Snow flake"　 Chu Cheuw Ping, Christy （Singapore） Just like snow flakes drifting in the sky, I will move in the direction I wish to go... Shooting location: Hakuba, Nagano prefecture		"Hanami" Joseph Joly （India） Hanami is the occasion to enjoy the beauty of the lush cherry blossom. Here, cherry blossom with the backdrop of Mount Fuji and Kawaguchi lake is beautiful to the spectator.
