	A confluence of the world's intelligence      TOKYO INTERNATIONAL EXCHANGE CENTER   Tokyo International Exchange Center provides quality residences and opportunities for intellectual exchange for exceptional graduate students and researchers from Japan and abroad.   Through various international and cultural activities, Tokyo International Exchange Center promotes global fusion on a day-to-day basis between residents and non-residents. Tokyo International Exchange Center strives to play a part in the creation of a worldwide intellectual network and the birth of new ideas and technology that exceeds generations. 1) Residence Halls: 630 rooms for singles (20m2 or 30 m2 ), 110 rooms for couples (80 m2 ), and 56 rooms for families (100 m2 ). 2) Plaza Heisei: As a facility for meetings for exchange and other events, Plaza Heisei offers a multi-purpose International Conference Hall (approx. 480 seats), Media Hall (approx. 100 seats), and conference rooms.
	An Information Sharing Center Exploring the Future of Science       NATIONAL MUSEUM OF       EMERGING SCIENCE AND INNOVATION   The National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation (Miraikan) is a center for sharing scientific and technological experiences with all people in order to promote better understanding of the wondrous worlds of science and technology. MeSci will develop dynamic, accessible methods through displays, demonstrations, and interactive experiences to bring the latest developments of science and technology to the people. In addition, MeSci will also be a “Network for Science” where scientists, media, schools, volunteers, visitors, and other science Museums can communicate.
	A Center of Researth and Collaboration among Industry, Academia and Goverment       AIST TOKYO WATERFRONT AIST Tokyo Waterfront is a center of international research and collaboration among industry, academia and government. It provides R & D facilities flexibly designed to meet the various needs of first-rate researchers from all over the world. Its aim is promoting the following: - R & D of they seeds of original and advanced technologies leading to the creation of new industries and market expansion, - exchange of researchers, domestically and internationally, - dissemination and exchange of information including the findings acquired by the R & D efforts above.
